The Wave: Lake Nona

The Wave is an innovative hotel serving the Lake Nona community in Orlando, Florida. The building was designed by Arquitectonica, and its construction began in 2018 and was completed in 2021.
The design of the Lake Nona Wave Hotel is inspired by the energy and movement of waves, and this concept is reflected throughout the hotel’s architecture and decor. The hotel has a distinctive undulating shape that mimics the waves of the nearby lake, and this unique shape is accentuated by a stunning facade of glass and metal.
Poma Architectural Metals manufactured and installed several elements for the building, including the massive LED-illuminated piping which adorns the profile edge on every elevation. Poma also fabricated the interior rail, restaurant light fixtures, exterior palm trees, privacy walls and other components in the building.
