Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, Orlando, FL

Perforated Aluminum, Copper, Railings, Exterior Louvers

Poma created a series of custom railings for the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center. The 369,000-square-foot art center in downtown Orlando comprises three theaters – an 1,800-seat opera house/symphony hall, a 2,800-seat Broadway theater and a 300-seat community theater.

The scope for Poma included aluminum perforated and backlit railing systems which add a mystique to the community theater; exterior louvers around mechanical equipment, copper railings and details in the main symphony hall, and architectural railing throughout the building’s staircases, ramps and interior spaces.

Working with Poma on this project was truly a pleasurable experience.
