Art House
Perforated Screens, Railings & Louvered Structures
Art House is a 42-story condominium tower in downtown St. Petersburg, developed by Kolter Urban and designed by SB Architects. The building takes its cue from St. Pete’s arts scene, with patterned metal screens wrapping the parking podium and gallery-like amenity spaces throughout.
Poma Architectural Metals fabricated and installed a wide scope of architectural metalwork across the tower, from the podium façade to the pool deck and the residences above.
The parking garage is screened with custom perforated aluminum panels in a repeating dot pattern that filters light and air while giving the podium its signature texture. The same perforated language carries through to the rooftop mechanical screens and service gates.
On the amenity deck, Poma built louvered pool cabanas and pergolas, horizontal-slat privacy screens and gates, and glass railings that frame views of the city and Tampa Bay. Up the tower, glass railings with slim aluminum posts line the balconies of every residence.
Art House is one of several Kolter Urban projects featuring Poma metalwork, alongside Hyde Park House in Tampa and the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota.
